WIGHT, Claudia Frances (Boyle) – of Davison, MI, age 59, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, in Claudia’s memory.
Claudia was born in Pontiac, MI on October 16, 1963, daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Boyle. She was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1981. Claudia had a passion for learning and pursued higher education, earning an associate degree in communications from Baker College. On May 30, 2005, Claudia married, Jason Wight, with whom she shared nearly two decades of happiness, love, and companionship. Claudia's professional life was marked by dedication and commitment. She worked as a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance, a role she served in for an impressive 38 years, before retiring in November 2022. One of Claudia's most cherished roles was that of a grandmother. She adored her grandchild, Jude, and found immense joy in spending time with and spoiling the newest addition to the family.
Claudia will be dearly missed and remembered by her loving family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be cherished for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her. Claudia was known for her playful spirit, sense of humor, quick wit, her ability to make friends with everyone, and her willingness to help those in need, always willing to give the shirt off her back. Claudia leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a lasting impact on the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was truly an angel on Earth, and now, Heaven has gained another angel in her.
Claudia is survived by her loving husband, Jason Wight; son, Tyler (Subin) Simmons; grandchild, Jude Simmons; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline Boyle.
