MILLER, Geraldine “Gerri” Irene (Ethier) – of Davison, MI, age 74, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, in Gerri’s memory.
Gerri was born in New Orleans, LA on July 18, 1947, daughter of the late Richard and Tillie (Solomon) Ethier, Sr. She was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School Class of 1966. Gerri loved arts and crafts, playing online games, gardening and taking care of her dogs, Lola and Charlie. She always thought very highly of military service members and police officers.
Gerri is survived by 2 children, Brant (Christine) Miller and Shannan (Doug) Wangler; 2 grandchildren, Matthew (Shelby) Miller and Tyler (Kayleigh) Miller; great-granddaughter, Skylar Miller; brother, Richard (Brenda) Ethier, Jr.; niece, Jennifer Hendricks; nephew, Jonathan Ethier; dear friend and neighbor, Christine Ogurek; 2 canine companions, Lola and Charlie; several great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard G. Ethier, Sr.; mother, Tillie Ethier and good friend, Wayne Miller.
