Mr. Ulysses McKelvin, Sr., 79, of Toledo, passed away November 29, 2010 in Hospice of NW Ohio, Toledo. He was a 1951 graduate of the Edward Drummond Libbey High School. He was a machinist 32 years for the Dana Corporation-Spicer Division prior to retirement in 1986. Surviving are son, Ulysses (Belinda), Jr.; daughter, Gina M. McElvin; 5 grand and 5 great grandchildren; sisters in law, Emma Johnson and Angie Cohen both of Columbus, OH, Barbara Salmond of Toledo and Delores Whittaker of Kennewick, WA and host of other loving relatives and kind friends. Visitation after 5 p.m. with Family Hour at 6 p.m. and Funeral Services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Jerusalem MB Church, 445 Dorr Street. Dr. W.L. Perryman, Jr., Pastor and Officiant.
