Bradley H. (Brad) Wiechelman, 83, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, surrounded by the family he cherished above all else. His life was defined by love, music, hard work, and time spent on the water. A gifted and distinguished vocalist, Brad shared his extraordinary talent with audiences for decades. After early years performing in the Cleveland and Akron, Ohio area, he dedicated over 30 years to the Saginaw Choral Society, where his rich voice and generous spirit became an integral part of the ensemble. He also enjoyed musical theatre, performing in productions and excerpts such as Phantom of the Opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Les Misérables, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, La Bohème, and many others. Music was integral to every stage of his life. Brad also found peace and happiness on the water. A lifelong boating enthusiast, he loved nothing more than sharing that passion for sailing with his children and grandchildren. Professionally, Brad was a respected businessman, building a successful career with Scientific Brake and Equipment in Saginaw, Michigan leading the Leasing division for over 30 years. A proud and unwavering Ohio State Buckeye fan and Red Wings fan he carried his team spirit with him everywhere. Above all, Brad will be remembered for his devotion to his wife and family. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved—whether singing for them, encouraging them, or simply enjoying time together.

He leaves behind his bride of 62 years, Mary Kay Wiechelman; his daughters, Kris (Greg) Forsyth, Kelly (Dan) Green, Karen Ouellette; grandchildren, Katie (Anny) Forsyth, Hallie (Gabe) Miller, Collin (Gillian) Green, Cameron Ouellette, Ethan Green, Leigha Forsyth, Emma Ouellette, Tyson Ouellette; great-grandchild, Jameson Miller; and nephew, Dale (Sue) Wiechelman, and many extended family members and friends who will forever feel the absence of his steady presence and warm heart.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 24 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday, January 24 from 10-11 am prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mustard Seed Shelter.
