WORSTENHOLM, Clifford L. “Cliff” - Of Flint, age 81, died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Sparrow Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor David Sickelka officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Society or the People’s Church of Flint.
Visitation 12-7pm Thursday, November 17, 2022 and 12pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Clifford was born in Flint, Michigan on June 5, 1941, the son of the late Clifford D. and Gertrude “Trudy” L. (Harris) Worstenholm. After graduating from Flint Central High School, he spent 4 years from 1959 to 1963, serving in the United States Navy. He was employed as a janitor with Chevrolet Metal Fab, retiring in 2001. He was a member of People’s Church of Flint. Cliff celebrated 32 years sober and was a grateful member of Al-Anon.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
daughter, Michelle (Mike) Zemore of King George, VA;
son, Jason Douglas Worstenholm of Flint;
sister-in-law, Janell (Dan) Sullivan of Woodhaven;
brother-in-law, Gary (Ann) Harvey of Columbia, TN;
grandchildren, Sarah (Todd) Kraholik of Camp Hill, PA, Andrew (Tanita) Zemore of King George, VA, Zachary (Natalie) Zemore of Hardin, MT;
great-grandchildren, Benjamin Kraholik, Waylon Joseph Zemore and Alivia Rayne Zemore;
special niece, Charlotte (Scott) Hildebrand and children, Delaney, Presley and Drew;
nieces, Bunny Sibilsky, and Pam Miller;
nephews, Brian Harvey, Justin Sullivan and Alan Worstenholm;
aunts, Carol Nelson of Stuart, FL and Mary (Walt) Banacki of Novi;
special golf partner, Ted Dodge;
best fishing buddies, Craig Bright and John Pavlica;
and many other cousins, 2nd and third cousins, including special cousin, Sue (Jim) Harris of Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John E. Worstenholm.
