BURNS, Kenneth – of Clio, formerly of Flint, age 60, died Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 1PM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow at Tanner Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service.
Kenneth was born February 22, 1963, in Flint, to the late Robert and Geraldine (Auxier) Burns. He graduated from Carman Ainsworth High School and worked at Burns’ Roofing for over 20 years before his most recent employment at Plastic Trim International. Ken was a devoted Methodist and read his Bible regularly. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, and was a skilled handyman, always finding projects around the house to complete. Ken had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him and was always ready with a joke or a funny story to light up a room. Ken's greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. He was a dedicated father to his children and the love he had for them and his entire family knew no bounds. He cherished every moment spent with the ones he loved. Kenneth will be deeply missed.
Kenneth is forever remembered by his children: Dustin Burns and Meghann (Brian) Cronk; Grandchildren: Ryley and Mikaela; Siblings: Robert (Lisa) Burns and Nancy (Todd) Fisher; Several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and wonderful friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Geraldine Burns. |
