BUTZLER, Patricia Louise "Pat" - Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Disabled American Veterans, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Homeless Angels in Owosso.
Pat was born April 17, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Leo and Ruth (Shumaker) Winter. She was 1954 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. She married Fredrick William Butzler June 25, 1955 in Fenton and he preceded her in death August 27, 2005. She was a former member of the Grand Blanc Moose Lodge, Fenton Farms Ladies golf leagues, and Loose Senior Center. Pat was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to the casinos and buying lottery tickets.
Surviving are: her daughter, Gwen and husband Riley Moore of Gaines; grandchildren, Ellen Moore of Fenton and Zaida and Ian Butzler of Ft. Myers, FL; and sister-in-laws Violet, Kathy, and Jeannie, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents; In-laws, Zaida and Bill Butzler; son, William Butzler; brothers, Richard, George, and Gary; and sister, Janet.
