On June 3rd, 2021, the most stubborn, strong willed, kind, caring, and sweet man, Ross Aaron Trnka, was called home to his maker and to the love of his life, his bride, Suzanne Trnka. He leaves behind his most valuable possessions; his children, Jeanette Trnka (Tom Monk), Clayton Trnka (Wendi), Matt Trnka, and Chad Trnka (Christa). Ross was as great of a Papa that three boys could have asked for. He will be greatly missed by Spencer, Ashton and Cohen Trnka. How their young faces would light up as they would see their super cool Grandpa rolling by on his tractor, and the excitement they would feel, climbing up on his lap to drive it. Ross will be reunited with his parents and his twin brother Theron. He will be so missed by his extended family here. He was more than just a brother-in-law to John Ruff, Peggy and Frank Polasek, and Paul Numerick; he was their brother and friend. He was loved not only by them, but their children and grandchildren.
Without knowing it, Ross made such an impact on so many people's lives. He would give without hesitation or expectation and no matter what he did, in his eyes, it was never enough. His heart was beyond measure. His 87 years was definitely a life worth celebrating, so please join us to pay tribute to Ross Trnka. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at St. Robert Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St. Flushing. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Rossell Funeral Home, 307 E. Main St. Flushing and 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of the service at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Elf Khurfeh Shriners.
