Archa Lou Peck (Lobbs), age 87, of Flint, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2023, at Mission Point in Holly.
Archa Peck was born on January 22, 1936, in Malden, MO and had resided in Flint most of her life. She was the daughter of Genevieve Lucille Duley and William Lee Lobbs. She married Charles Raymond Peck on May 29, 1958 in Flint. She graduated from Utley High School in 1953 and from Mott Community College in 1974 where she studied to become a registered nurse. She was employed by St. Joseph Hospital in Flint for many years and also served as the Director of Nursing at Ridgeview Nursing Home in Malden, MO, and the Administrator of McFarland Home for the Aged in Flint, retiring in 1994. Archa spent the majority of her life serving the Lord as a pastor’s wife, singing in the choir, and playing the piano in church. Archa loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart, who brought her joy and laughter.
Archa is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles; her children, Cheryl (Dean) Kelley of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael (Tammy) of Grand Blanc, and Kenneth (Jennifer) of Sterling Heights; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer (Josue), Dean (Amanda), Michael (Paola), Samantha, Jared (Jamie), Eric, Leah, Ashley, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Ethan, Evan, Aaron, and Emerson; 8 great-grandchildren, McKayla, Gabrielle, Vada, Stella, Zola, Micah, Levi, and Violet; sister Erna (Delbert) Rainwater; brother Jerry (Karen) Lobbs; and many nieces and nephews.
Archa was preceded in death by her parents, William and Genevieve Lobbs; son, Jerry Peck; and brother, Billy Lobbs.
No funeral service is planned. A private family service will be scheduled at a later date.
