ASBERRY, Ervin L.– of Burton, MI, age 92, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery with Ron Brooks officiating.
Ervin was born in Kansas City, MO on April 24, 1928, son of the late John and Irene (Woodcocke) Asberry. He retired from General Motors in 1983 after 30 years of service. Ervin loved wood working, loved being with people, talking and most of all loved his family very much. He was an active member of Shawn Baptist Church in Flint, MI.
Ervin is survived by 6 children, Dave Asberry of Roscommon, MI, Judy (Craig) Lutze of Flint, MI, Peggy (Tom) Lintz of Burton, MI, Mary Jane (Richard) Ceglarek of Orange City, FL, Cathy (Garry) Kildow of Swartz Creek, MI, Linda (Mark Hubbard) Asberry; grandchildren, Aimee Asberry of Flint, MI, Tommy Brill of Fenton, MI, Julie Asberry of Durand, MI, Triska (Lyle) Alexander of Argentine, MI, John (Sara) Lutze of Flint, MI, David (Tammy Melrose) Brill of Grand Blanc, MI, Jason (Jennifer) Forsyth of Davison, MI, Jennifer (Mike) Nast of Howell, MI, Ryan (Jacqulyn) Kildow of Argentine, MI, Chad (Melissa) Kildow of Grand Blanc, MI, Jonathan Kildow of Fenton, MI; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Melba Taylor of MO; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Glenda R. Asberry; his brothers, Lloyd, Sylvian, Floyd, Billy and sister, Carolyn.
