It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Lynn Edwards (Chittle), of Mundy Township, who left us at home on May 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 15, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Theresa graduated from Mott Community College and dedicated over 25 years to her career as a Dental Hygienist.
A true nature lover, Theresa found joy in the great outdoors, feeding the birds, rabbits, and squirrels they would flock to her when they saw her. She cherished her time at her cabin up North, where she enjoyed swimming, fishing, riding her four-wheeler, and relaxing on her pontoon. Her greatest passion, however, was her love for animals, especially the rescue dogs she cared for—Kado, Manny, and Samson.
Theresa is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Ken; loving son, Josh; brother, Scott Chittle of Manton, MI; special niece and nephew, Lillian and Cooper Chittle; and sister-in-law, Tiffany Chittle. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert James; sister, Kelly Anne; and her adored grandparents, Robert Keith and Jessie.
In accordance with Theresa's wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, we ask that you remember her for the vibrant and loving spirit she was.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heather at Absolute Hospice for the exceptional care and support provided to Theresa during her time of need. |
