FISHER, Alfred Emmery – Of Fairview, Michigan, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 68, peacefully left this life with family by his side, Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center – Fostrian.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Visitation 12 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service per Alfred’s wishes.
Those desiring to make contributions, may do so to Toys for Tots, in honor of his giving nature.
Alfred was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada on May 10, 1951, the son of the late Emmery and Mary (Jacques) Fisher. He retired as a welder from General Motors. Alfred was an avid motorcyclist and loved riding with his friends. He also enjoyed living half the year at his other home in Florida. Alfred will always be remembered for his sarcastic wit and his lust for life.
Surviving are daughter, Sarah Ann Maas; grandchildren, Alyssa and Madison;
siblings Sheila, Teresa, Roland and Kathy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Adam Fisher.
