JOHNSON, Gary – of Davison, age 54, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 4PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Interment will be in Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman, MI. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
Gary was born on the Army Base in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany on June 2, 1967, son of Brian Johnson and Sherry Darby. He married Jean Guile on April 30, 1994, in Davison, MI. He liked riding his Harley, bowling, hunting and fishing. Music was an important part of his life and he enjoyed playing his electric guitar. Gary was a dedicated and precise machinist. His family meant everything to him, especially his children and grandsons. Throughout his life, Gary played an important role with many of his children’s friends.
Gary is survived by wife, Jean; sons, Austin (Caitlyn), Hunter (Breanne) and Adam Domorsky; grandsons, Kayden and Carter “Butters”; father, Brian (Regina) Johnson; mother, Sherry (Patrick) Darby; sister, Mary (Matt) Urch; stepsiblings, Amy Latham, Patrick (Peggy) and Ryan Darby; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Frazier “Popsie” and Hilda “Gani” Bell, Gordon and Peg Johnson.
