Mary Lou Triggs, age 89, of Owosso, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Isaiah Duff officiating. Mary Lou will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Mary Lou was born on September 24, 1936, in Owosso, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Bompezzi) Schlaack.
She was a proud graduate of Owosso High School and remained a lifelong member of the Owosso community.
A devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church for many years, Mary Lou had a deep and abiding faith and a strong love for her Lord and Savior. She found great joy in gardening and playing tennis, but above all, she treasured time spent with her family. Her warmth, kindness, and the memories she created will be dearly missed.
Mary Lou worked as a Hairdresser at Jacobson's in her early years then in later years joined her husband working for Triggs Miner as a secretary and a hostess at Pines Country House, where she was known for her friendly smile and welcoming spirit.
She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Nikki) Triggs;. and her beloved triplet grandsons; Alex, Braden and Cameron

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Schlaack.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church or the Memorial Healthcare Hospice.
