STODDARD, James Williams – of Mt. Morris, MI, age 60, died Monday, March 2, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mi. Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, March 9, 2020. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, MI on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 12 PM – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family.
James was born August 19, 1959 in Flint, Michigan, to the late Harry and Edith (Jolly) Stoddard. He attended Hamady High School. James worked for a number of employers related to Automotive manufacturing, including: Vemco – G.M., A.C. Delphi, Pontiac Truck and Bus Assembly, G.M. retiring in 2002. Although he did not attend a specific church regularly, he considered himself Baptist. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling “up north” and spending time with family. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to James’ landlord and friends Patricia and Joe Horn who provided much needed care for James over the years.
Surviving are; Daughter: Megan Lynn Stoddard of Mt. Morris; Son: Justin Michael Stoddard of Flint; Grandchildren: Reese Kawa, Logan Kawa; Brother: Hudson Stoddard of Tennesee; Sisters: Twila Moore of Clio, Roxanne Wentworth of Georgia. He was preceded in death by: Brother: Lawrence Stoddard; Sister: Linda Streng; Brother-In-Law: Richard Moore.
