Robertson, Barbara- of Swartz Creek, age 65, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was the most intentional person anyone knew. She lived her life with grace, honesty, a heart of gold and a determination that inspired everyone around her. She gave endlessly, loved fiercely, and always "told it like it was". As her daughter she told me I was her life, little did she know, she was mine too. She worked endlessly to provide, to be a great friend, confidant, incredible mother, daughter, sister, and GiGi.
She was a true staple in the community, proudly owning and operating Farm Bureau Insurance for 35 years in Swartz Creek, MI. She took immense pride in serving her clients, building lasting relationships, and exemplifying values of a dedicated community businesswoman. Through her kindness, compassion, integrity and commitment to others, she will leave a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
"Be a Barbara". Be STRONG, be RESILIENT, live life FULLY with INTEGRITY and PURPOSE. That is the legacy she leaves behind.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Josh Kennedy officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 at the Funeral home.
