WILLIAMS, Beverley – of Clio, formerly of Reed City, age 89, died peacefully Thursday, April 6, 2023, surrounded by her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held 1:30PM Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Bethany United Methodist Church – 353 E. Vienna St. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Bethany United Methodist Church, Humane Society of Genesee County, or to Compassus Hospice.
Beverley was born March 1, 1934, to the late John and Velma (Morris) Wilson. She attended Reed City High School where she received her high school diploma with the class of 1952. In January of 1960, Beverley married Howard Williams. Howard preceded her in death in 1970. Prior to her retirement, she was the Vienna Township Secretary and Deputy Clerk. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church along with the Clio American Legion and the Lions Club. In her spare time, Beverley enjoyed playing cards - especially euchre and shanghai. She would attend the Thetford Senior Center every Friday to play cards and eat lunch. Beverley loved to attend her grandchildren’s soccer games and watch them on the field. Above all, Beverley was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beverley is forever loved by her children: Vicki (Victor) Raybaud, Kristi Williams, and Sheri Hilts; Grandchildren: Hilari, Alyssa, Vanessa, Valerie, Victoria, Brenden, Brianna, Austin, Annalise; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; Siblings: Darrell James “Jim” (Barbara) Wilson, Carroll John “Jack” (Judy) Wilson, and Marlene Judith “Judy” Holt; Beloved cats: Tiffany “Tiffy” and Prince; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Beverley was preceded in death by her parents; Son-in- law, Rob Hilts; Brother-in-law, Jack Holt; Loving dog, Jeremy. |
