MORROW, Tommy Joe “TJ” – Of Flint, age 71, died Monday, September 12, 2022 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1pm Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Walt Rose officiating.
Visitation 10am Thursday September 22, 2022 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family.
Tommy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 1, 1950, the son of the later Tom and Ada Morrow. Tommy Joe graduated from Carman High School, Class of 1965 and proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Bassalone during Vietnam. Tommy Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his dog, Duke. He was an Armored Truck Driver for Loomis Armored, Inc.
Surviving are sisters, Donna (Roy) McBean and Sherry (George) Essy;
and several nieces, nephews and their children.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Janet Howell of Buckner, MO and Phyllis Petrosky of Flint; brothers-in-law, Rick Thalhammer and Douglas Cocke; nieces, Erica Flores, Casey Dennis and Heather Petrosky and nephew, Rodney Petrosky.
