Barbara B. Wylie, a loving and giving mother, age 82, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Holly died Thurs. Nov. 11, 2021. She was born on April 26, 1939 in Tazewell, TN to Fred and Opal (Cox) Blevins. She was a former employee of Holly Area Schools where she served many children, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holly and a member of TOPPS. She had a genuine servant's heart, and she never let anyone leave hungry. She always put the needs of others before hers. Surviving are 3 children, Regina Aldrich, John (Joyce) Wylie, and Carl (Eileen) Wylie; 9 grandchildren, Trevis, Derek, Bradley, Cara, Carl Jr., Audrey, Elijah, Elisha, and Victoria; 5 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Tristan, Rosalie, Willow, and Parker Jane; brothers Frank Blevins and James A. (Janet) Blevins; sister Katherine (Johnie) Rhodes; sisters-in-law, Madeline Blevins and Anna Blevins; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM with a Memorial Service at 4 PM Monday, Nov. 15, 2021at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
