SEYMOUR, Vincent - Of Grand Blanc, age 76, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Visitation will be held from 10am-2pm Sunday September 20, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint 48507.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Vincent was born on June 7, 1950, son of the late Monroe and Lillian Seymour. Vincent lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and a wide variety of passions that brought him joy.
On August 12, 1972, he married the love of his life, Dorothea Gilbert (Sam). Together, they built a remarkable 54-year journey filled with partnership, love, and cherished memories.
Vincent worked for many years at General Motors, ultimately retiring.
Vincent approached life with enthusiasm and energy. Whether he was listening to music, reading a good book, spending the day fishing, playing a round of golf, skiing down snowy slopes, hunting, or taking long motorcycle rides across state lines, Vincent embraced every adventure. He also loved to travel, always eager to see new places.
He leaves behind his: wife: Dorothea "Sam" Seymour (of 54 years);
daughter: Kimberly & (Robert) Sears;
grandchildren: Dominic, Kellee, Robert II, and Nikki & Luciano Babb;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Lilli and Austin, along with 2 additional sisters and 1 brother.
