RICH, Rosemary (Wetherwax) – of Davison, MI, age 76, passed away peacefully in the loving company of her family on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Heritage Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care after a lengthy battle with Dementia. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Family, friends and all of those whose lives Rosemary touched are invited to Allen Funeral Home from 12-7 PM Monday, October 24, 2022 and 10-11 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 to reminisce, grieve, chat and support one another. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care, 1430 Cleaver Road, Caro, MI 48723, in Rosemary’s memory.
Rosemary was born in Tomahawk, WI on November 19, 1945, daughter of the late William Ward and Anna Rose (Sero) Wetherwax. She was a graduate of Davison High School. Rosemary married Donald Lee Rich on September 1, 1967 in Davison, MI and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2014. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service. Rosemary was a steadfast and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In the twilight of her life, she was remembered fondly for a lifetime’s worth of demonstrations of unwavering love, compassion and humanity.
Rosemary is survived by 2 sons, Craig (Christine) Rich and Donald (Michelle) Rich, Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Lindsay (Ryan) Schaefer, Asheley (Joe) Rich, Daniel (Ayla) Rich, Timothy (Katelyn) Rich, Macey (Brad) Fletcher, Amanda (Austin) Jacobs and Alicia Kushba; 9 great-grandchildren, Jaxen, Watson, Norman, Hazel, Jensen, Raegan, Sophia, Tucker and Hudson; 3 sisters, Charlene Sweet, Donna Mowery and June Bertolini; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ward and Anna Rose Wetherwax; husband, Donald Lee Rich and sister, Wanda Wetherwax.
