MONTAGUE, Dennis Hugh – of Davison, age 66, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 11 AM – 3 PM and 5-8 PM Tuesday and 12 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Davison Lions Club.
Dennis was born in Clio, MI on September 20, 1951 to Warren and Bernice Montague. He has three sons with his first wife, Cindy. On October 13, 1978, he then married his second wife, Patti (Webb) and they had a son and a daughter. Dennis was a member of Russellville Wesleyan Church for many years. He retired from Delphi after 30 years and continued the Towing business they started in 1990 and later added on Self-Storage and U-Haul in 2007. Dennis proudly served Richfield Township as a Trustee for 17 years and was also a member of the Richfield Township Lions Club. He was also an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Patti; sons, Chris (Jodi) Montague, Chad (Andrea) Montague, Curt (Melissa) Montague, Brent (Pangcha) Montague; daughter, Melody (Seth) Norris; grandsons, CJ, Brendan; granddaughters, Kendall, Paige, Lana, Evelyn, Juliet, Anina, Aya, Emily; brothers, Carl (Susette) Montague, Kim (Rexanne) Montague; sister, Karen (Art) Male and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Bernice Montague; brothers, Charles Montague, Wayne Montague.
