White, Charles W. “Charlie”- of Montrose, age 81, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at McLaren of Flint. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Charles was born October 28,1940, to the late Charles and Berneitas (Carrigan) White.
He went to St. Mary’s High School and graduated with the class of 1958. Charles worked at General Motors for 21 years, as a tradesman. He served in the Army for 3 years, being honorably discharged. Charles enjoyed hunting, playing golf even though he wasn’t good. Charles loved a good piece of pie, a great inappropriate joke, a weekend with the pedal to the metal on the backroads of rural Michigan. Charles enjoyed fixing up houses in later years. He was fun loving and very witty. Charles kept life rolling and was crystal clear on how he believed. Above all he loved his family and enjoyed living life.
Surviving are: Wife, Elizabeth White: Children: Mary (Mark), Christopher (Janice), Sandra (Shaun); Stepchildren: Rick (Martha), Jean (Dan), Nancy (Rob), Cherri, Debra (Michael) and Robin (John); Siblings: Joseph, Kathryn, Teresa (Paul); Brother-In-Law, Richard; Many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; Several wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins as well; His hunting buddies and best friends, Duane Hearn and Uncle Ted Keller. He is preceded in passing by Son: Nicholas; Sisters: Evelyn, Nancy, and Coleen; Sister-In-Law: Karen and Brother-In-Laws: Ed and Ted, and Bob. Former wives, Patricia Gaffney, and Carol Smallwood.
