MANGOLD, Pamela - of Clio, age 67, died peacefully Saturday, January 21, 2023, with family by her side. Funeral service will be held 1PM Friday, January 27, 2023, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10AM until 8PM and Friday from 9AM until the time of service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Pam was born September 19, 1955, in Flint, to Mary C. Laird. She attended Clio Community Schools and worked as a resident aide at Cranberry Park for 13 years. Pam owned two donut shops during her early years, Supreme Donuts in Flint and Pam’s Place in Genesee, making her an icon in the Flint area. Pamela was known to be a selfless woman who always offered a helping hand and put everyone’s needs before her own. She was a big kid who loved to dance and make others smile with her contagious personality and witty sense of humor. One of her favorite things to do was take her daughter on Missi and Mom Adventures, which usually included lunch then going on a much needed shopping trip. Pam hosted the best Christmas Eve parties and made the most incredible cookies for others to enjoy - especially her grandson, James. She was extremely dedicated to her family and a role model to her children and grandchildren. Pamela had a beautifully rare and pure soul that carried love and integrity with every step she took. Above all, she was the best mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pamela is forever loved by her children: ShaSheen (Aaron) Snider, Shaun Mangold; Larry (Brandy) Mangold, Messiah Mangold, and Shannon Mangold; Grandchildren: Devyn Barrett, Cheyenne (Robert) Messing, James “Buddha” (Marissa) Barrett, Jaidyn Snider, Pamela Snider, Zachary Mangold, Addison Mangold, Taylor Mangold, Brian Mangold, Rylei Mangold, Alexis Mangold, and Harmony Clark; Great Grandchildren: Landon, Charlie, Khelani, and Baby Barrett due June 2023; Mother, Mary; Siblings: Tim Glefffe, Cynthia Stoltenberg, and George Gleffe; Beloved companion, Max; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Pamela was preceded in death by her son, James “Jimmie” Mangold; Sister, Mary Ann Gleffe; Brother, Thomas Gleffe.
