Duell Lawrence Mead
Age 75 of Corunna passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Struble officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 8pm.
Duell was born May 18, 1941 in Corunna, the son of Opal and Willard Mead.
He was a lifetime member of the Dog and Gun club and enjoyed fishing and watching Westerns on TV. Most of all Duell looked forward to spending time with his family.
Duell retired from Michigan Brick a/k/a US Brick.
He is survived by his children Jackie May Mead, Vicky Mead-Guziak, Susie Kay Wells and Nick (Kimberley) Mead and their mother Lois Mead; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Beverly (Burt) Weiland and Jacqulyn Keizman; special friend Eva Lytle; many other loving family and friends.
Duell was predeceased by his son Duell Lawrence Mead II; daughters Marcia Lynn Mead-Banks and Sharon Rae Mead.
Memorial contribrutions are suggested to the Shiawassee Council on Aging or the Shiawassee Dog and Gun Club.
