KARSOE, Deborah Mae – Of Linden, age 78, died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Per Deborah’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or American Cancer Society.
Deborah was born in Flint, Michigan on April 22, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph and Arlene (Papp) Kish. Deborah graduated from Southwestern High School and received her Bachelors Degree from Central Michigan University. She earned her Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Deborah enjoyed spending time on the beach in Florida and at her place up north. She was a teacher at the Valley School in Flint before retiring.
Surviving are children, Wendy (Mark) Hrenyk of Davison and Aaron Karsoe of Houston, Texas;
grandson, Trevor Hrenyk;
step-grandsons, Adam Hrenyk and Justin Holloway;
sister, Patricia (Keith) Kopriva of Interlochen, Michigan;
brother, Robert (Chris) Kish of Raleigh, NC;
niece, Sara Kopriva, nephew, Kevin Kopriva and many cousins.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Karsoe.
