GEIGER, Eileen J. – Formerly of Swartz Creek, age 97, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Abbey Park Independent Living.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Tara Sutton officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Halsey United Methodist Church.
Visitation 12 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Eileen was born in Flint, Michigan on May 2, 1924.
On July 14, 1945 she married William A. Geiger in Flint.
She was a member of Halsey United Methodist Church, formerly member of Trinity and Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.
She was a volunteer at Hurley Hospital for 40 years.
Surviving are 4 children, Kathryn (Robert) Giles,
Paul (Judy) Geiger,
Joanne (Dennis) Weston,
Lori (Scott) Somers;
13 grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Danielle, William, Angelina, Gabrielle, Andrew, Rachel, Michele, Sarah and Julie;
20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William; son, William A. Geiger; two brothers and one sister.
