Weatherford, Douglas John - Age 78, of Flint, died January 7, 2021. The family may plan a memorial at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Doug was born February 6, 1942 in Darlington, SC, the son of Carl and Viola (Lee) Weatherford. He retired from General Motors after 39 years. Doug was an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved casinos and tinkering in the shed. Doug's nickname was "Smiley", he had a smile all the time. He is survived by his wife, Anna "Ceil"; 3 children, Raymond (Amanda) Weatherford of Easley, SC., Pattie (Randy) Matheson of Burton, Robie (April) Weatherford of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Eric (Jackie), Evanne, Eryn, Ainsley, Aidan, Chyanne, Shane, Abby, Jill, Kristen; and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
