SMITHWICK, Jerry Don – Of Flushing, age 71, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Donald Bennett officiating.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Kidney Foundation of the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Jerry was born in Flint, Michigan on November 3, 1949, the son of Floyd and Edith (Tedford) Smithwick.
Jerry was owner and operator of Jerry’s Tree Service.
Surviving are brother, Mike (Sharon) Smithwick;
2 sisters, Doris Cherry and Opal Wicks;
many nieces and nephews;
neighbors, Barb and Leroy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa and sister, Diane Harwood.
