DICKIE, Thomas Daniel “Uncle Peep”– of Davison, MI, age 73, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital due to complications of COVID-19. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. The family will receive visitors 10-11 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, in Thomas’s memory.

Thomas was born in Flint, MI, on May 13, 1948, son of the late John and Lee (Schemmel) Dickie. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army as a tank operator in Vietnam, receiving a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and achieving the rank of Sergeant. Thomas loved cars, tinkering in the garage almost every day. He also enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, ORV’ing and spending time in the outdoors. Most of all he loved his family, friends and neighbors.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Nancy Dickie; 5 children, Aaron Dickie, Lori Ariss, Marjory Burtch, Carol Reynolds and Daniel Erity; 9 grandchildren, Jenna Dickie, Breanna Dickie, Kelly Dickie, Amelia Haggadone (Ryan), Michaela Reynolds, Marissa Reynolds, Daniel (Boone) Erity, Jacob Balla and Matthew McCorry; 2 brothers, John Roth and Robert Roth; 2 sisters, Lynn Dickie and Janet Dickie; many other loving family members and friends.
