Ford, Linda A. – of Mt. Morris, age 75, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at her residence. Funeral service will be held 11AM on Thursday, January 5, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 7PM and on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society.
Linda was born June 19, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Beatrice (Lucas) Whetstone. She attended Mt. Morris Highschool graduating with the class of 1965. Linda married the love of her life, Kenneth Ford Sr. on April 23, 1966, he preceded her in death in 2014. Linda worked for General Motors on the production line for 12 years, before retiring in 1989. She enjoyed playing bingo and gambling, especially betting on the horses. More than anything she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was her entire world. Linda was an amazing wife, mother and grandma who will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Son, Kenneth (Samantha) Ford; Grandchildren: Casey Zapata, Courtney (Chris) Stearns, Taylor Castanon, and Lauren (Josh) Logan; Great grandchildren: Addisyn, Aubrie, and Xander; Brothers: Lawrence (Angela) Whetstone, Lloyd (Carolyn) Whetstone; Several nieces and nephews.
