WESCOAT, Jeffery L. “Miser” – of Tawas, Formerly of Clio, Michigan, age 63, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc. Private family services will be held. Inurnment in Tuscola Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bailee Mantei Foundation or the Elmer A. Knopf Learning Center in Flint.
Jeff was born September 26, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to the late Francis and Donna (Price) Wescoat. He loved volunteering, especially at the Clio Senior Center, Clio Bowling Alley, and Bingo hall. Jeff never asked for anything in return, he always just wanted to help people however he could and was a friend to all. He was proud of being a swimmer in the Special Olympics. Jeff also loved heavy equipment, and always had dreams of owning a bobcat or cherry picker. He loved his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Surviving are: Sisters: Kathy-Jo (Eugene) Sabin, and Judy Ferguson; Nieces and nephews: Ben Wildfong, Michelle Ferguson, Brook (Matt) Mantei, and Jason (Angella) Ferguson; 6 great nieces and nephews; Many other loving family members and friends. Jeff was also preceded in death by: Brother, Mike Wescoat; Great niece, Bailee Mantei; Nephew, Greg Wildfong.
