DROPTINY, Billy Inez (Morgan) – of Flint, MI, age 98, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service was held.

Billy was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on August 13, 1925, daughter of the late Buster and Rose (Gibson) Morgan. Billy dedicated numerous years of her life to General Motors, where she worked with unwavering commitment and passion. Her dedication to her career was not just a job; it was a testament to her strong work ethic and resilience. Outside of the workplace, Billy's joyous spirit found expression on the dance floor, where she reveled in the art of swing dancing. Her graceful moves and infectious enthusiasm made her a beloved presence at dance events, creating cherished memories for those fortunate enough to share the floor with her. Family meant everything to Billy, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Whether it was a family gathering, a holiday celebration, or a simple day spent together, Billy's warmth and love created a foundation of happiness for those around her.
Billy will be remembered for her kindness, her love for life, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her. As we say our goodbyes, let us celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind and find solace in the memories that will forever live on in our hearts.

Billy is survived by her daughter, Dana (George) Dieterich; 2 grandchildren, Derek (Rhonda) Dieterich and William Dieterich; 4 great-grandchildren, Greyson Dieterich, Amelia Dieterich, Sloane Dieterich and Jackson Dieterich; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Rose Morgan.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Billy's neighbors, whose unwavering support and genuine care provided comfort throughout the years. In times of both joy and sorrow, these neighbors became an extended family, creating a community filled with compassion and solidarity.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended to Dr. Ishaque, whose dedication and compassionate care played a pivotal role in Billy's journey. Dr. Ishaque's commitment to providing comfort and understanding during challenging times has left an indelible mark on the hearts of the family.
