CRAWFORD, Buena “Arlene” – Of Flint, age 90, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at her residence with loving family surrounding her.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Buena was born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, Canada on April 27, 1924, the daughter of Robert and Buena Braid.
She married Norris Crawford June 18, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 1987.
She was a member of First General Baptist Church and belonged to the Grand Blanc Women’s Club.
Mrs. Crawford retired from Flint General Hospital.
Surviving are daughter, Vicki Lynn Fox;
step-children, Ruth Ann Parkinson (Henry) and Dennis Crawford (Barb);
15 grandchildren,
numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris; son, Jim DeLong; daughter, Sharon Kelch; step-son, Norris Crawford Jr.; nine brothers and sisters.
