CHURCH, Patricia “Pat” Kay (Menear) – of Burton, MI, age 79, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 North Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Paul Mabry officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-1 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Davison Missionary Church.
Pat was born in Flint, MI on December 27, 1940, daughter of the late Clayton and Nellie (Roberts) Menear. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School Class of 1959. After graduation, Pat attended Flint Junior College and Baker Business College where she earned an associate degree. Pat was a member and Sunday School Teacher of the former Oak Park United Methodist Church and Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She served as past president of Goodwill Auxiliary where she volunteered for over 30 years. Pat was also an avid collector of antiques and she loved gardening, particularly cultivating flowers.
Pat is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Norm Church; son, Dale Church; sister, Barbara Nickola Menear; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Nellie Menear.
