Jim Kehler, 89, went home to Heaven to be with our LORD and Savior on December 25, 2023. He was born on May 17, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to John & Mollie (Michael) Kehler. He graduated from Dye High School in 1952. Most of his career was spent in Engineering and Purchasing. He was part owner of Fen-Tec, Inc. located in Argentine, Michigan, until 1986. He loved all of the people that worked for him along with the vendors that worked with him. The closing of Fen-Tec was a great loss that he carried with him throughout his life. In his earlier years, he loved to bowl, but golfing was his life-long passion. He also loved to paint, wallpaper, and do yard work.
Jim is survived by Emma, his best friend and wife of 33 years. He also leaves behind 3 children; Karen, Greg, and Debbie; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers John & Tom; sisters-in-law Avis, Dee, Catherine and Franny; special niece Patty; and many other close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy, and brother Howard.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan 48473.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church or Adopt-A-Pet, Inc., 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430. |
