HERRON, Jill Janiece (Willard) – of Davison, MI, age 67, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 North Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423; Jill’s son, Jiles Herron, officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Davison Missionary Church.
Jill was born in Deckerville, MI on May 28, 1955, daughter of the late John and Betty (Wulff) Willard. She married Don Herron on March 25, 1978. Following in her father’s footsteps, Jill earned a Bachelor of Education degree from Michigan State University and was a short-wave radio operator. She was a gifted musician, playing many instruments including the flute, piano, guitar and she was also an alto singer. Jill taught Sunday School and was a loving caregiver to many family members.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Don Herron; 7 children, Thomas Herron, Karena Herron, Jiles (Christina) Herron, Donielle (Nicholas) Danforth, Caleb Herron, Lydia (David) Palazuelos and Stephen (Sydney) Herron; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Beverly Willard-Reed and Gloria Constance; and a host of loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Willard; step-mother, Theola Willard and infant sister, Lindy Willard.
