Kasper, Irene Alphie - Age 88, of Flint, formerly of Davison, passed away February 4, 2024 at her daughters home in Lapeer surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, February 9 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. The funeral service will be available by livestream at a link on her webpage at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Interment to follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 3 PM and 5 PM - 8 PM Thursday, February 8; and also 11 AM Friday February 9 until the time of the service at 12 PM at the funeral home. Alphie "Irene" was born December 21, 1935 in Savannah, TN., the daughter of Homer J. and Nancy Elizabeth (McFalls) Jerrolds. She married John J. Kasper on January 8, 1955; he preceded her in death on January 14, 2005. Irene had a very strong faith in the Lord. She was the matriarch of the family and will be missed dearly by all. She cared for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren for many years with the love only family could give. She could cook and bake at a moments notice and welcomed everyone. Irene is survived by her 3 children, Debbie (Bill) Rivera of Lapeer, Donna (John) Williams of Holly, Steve Kasper of Florida; 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; twin brother, Homer Ira (Linda) Jerrolds; 2 sisters, Lou Ferrel, and Dorothy (John) Robbins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years John Kasper; several siblings; and son, Wayne Howard Kasper.
