Joy Ann Labrash age, 65 of Oxford passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026 surrounded by her Loving Family. She was born on October 16, 1960 in Flint Michigan, daughter to George Morgan, and to the late Loretta Morgan of Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Joy was sister to Dianna Barrington of Burton, MI, the late Michael Morgan of Swartz Creek, MI., Jeffery Morgan of Grand Blanc, and twin sisters, Laura and Lisa Morgan of Roseville. She is survived by her Husband, Michael LaBrash of Reed City, Sons Phillip and Peter, and Daughter Elizabeth LaBrash.
Joy was born in Flint, MI and grew up and attended schools in Grand Blanc. She attended Baker College in Flint, MI and also working at Slenderform – Silhouette in Flint. She earned her associate degree in business at Baker Jr College in Flint, and BSBM at Davenport college in Warren, MI in 1986.
Joy married Michael in 1985 at Holy Family Catholic Church and moved to Rochester Hills. There she became the loving mother of her children, Phillip, Peter, and Elizabeth.
Joy and Michael moved to Oxford, Mi on Labor Day weekend of 1994, and raised the children who went to Oxford schools.
Joy was involved with both the Boy scouts, and Girl scouts, Catechism at St. Joseph church in Lake Orion for over 15 years, and worked as teaching assistant at the elementary for several years at Oxford schools. With the kids being older she worked at Rite-Aid in Oxford Mi for 12 years, and then at Meloche Dealership in Lake Orion Twp. For 4 years.
Joy loved dancing, all sports as well as skiing, camping, fishing, singing, and always wanted to entertain family and guests.
Visitation for Joy will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2026 from 4:00-8:00pm at Hill Funeral Home, located at 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Rosary prayer service will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 30, 2026 at 10:00am with one hour of visitation prior to the mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI.
