SHAHEEN, Mansour A. – Of Flushing, age 93, died Sunday, September 29, 2024 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint,
Father Pierre Bassil officiating.
Visitation 3-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary and Incense Service will be held 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Mansour was born in Flint, Michigan on September 11, 1931, the son of the late Abraham and Helena Shaheen. On November 13, 1954, he married Elsie Sedlacek and she preceded him in death on January 25, 2020. Mon served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a founding member of Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church. Mon retired from General Motors Ternstedt/Fisher Coldwater.
Surviving are children, Scott (Cindy), Stacey, Matthew and Mark;
Brother, Joseph Shaheen;
Sister-in-law, Rose;
And numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Louis (Elizabeth), Anne (Joseph) David, John (Jeanne), Louise (Joseph) Rizk, Marie (Louis) Daher, brother Shaheen, and sister-in-law, Marjorie.
