COLEMAN, Betty J. – of Davison, MI, age 89, passed away April 27, 2018 at McLaren Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Davison United Methodist Church, 207 E. 3rd St., Davison; Pastor Bo Rin Cho officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison and 10-11 AM Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Betty was born on October 22, 1928, daughter of the late Ray E. and Ella McIlmurray. She married Ivan Coleman on July 17, 1948 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 2008.
Betty is survived by her sons, Michael Coleman and Tim (Deanna Thomas) Coleman; granddaughter, Jennifer Harris; great granddaughter, Megan Marie Harris; daughter-in-law, Charlene Coleman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; K9 friend, Molly. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her K9 friend, Freddie.
