Mark Allen Milkiewicz, age 59, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born on July 10, 1966, in Flint, Michigan to Sydney and Margaret (LaMarche) Milkiewicz. Mark was a lifelong Flint resident who surrounded himself with many friends and family who loved him.
Known for his vibrant personality and infectious energy, Mark could light up any room he walked into. Always quick with a smile, a joke, or a helping hand, he was the life of the party and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Mark had a strong work ethic, loved working on cars, and enjoyed time spent on the lake with his loyal dog, Gunner.
He cherished duck hunting trips with his dad, creating memories in the quiet of early mornings that he carried with him throughout his life. Above all, Mark treasured time with family and friends, sharing countless laughs, stories, and celebrations. As a proud Harley-Davidson rider, Mark loved nothing more than hitting the open road on his bike. It was his freedom, his joy, and a true reflection of his adventurous side.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Kerrie (Kapin) Milkiewicz. Surviving is his son, Michael (Aaron Burgett) Milkiewicz; parents, Sydney and Margaret Milkiewicz; sister, Danielle (Jeff) Jones; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Paige, Landon, and Alexis Jones; and his loyal companion, Gunner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, with Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
