FARIS, Juanita Louise, of Flint, MI died August 26, 2022. She was born November 20, 1927 to Rudolph and Ollie Teachenor. She was married to George Faris for 70 years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 30 2022 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint, with Father Pierre Bassil officiating.
Burial will follow Mass in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 3:00pm-8:00pm on Monday, August 29 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, with a Rosary prayed at 7:00pm. Visitation also 10:00am Tuesday at church until the time of Mass.
Louise is survived by sister Jeanette Walterhouse, brother Harold (Joy) Teachenor, children Linda (Owen), Fred (Paula), and George (Shawn), grandchildren Stephanie (Chris), Tim (Carolyn), Tali (Travis), Mike (Sheila), Ryan (Julia), Justin (Sarah) and favorite Mallori, great grand-children Sadie, Elise, Luci, Piper, Trent, Jude, Ariana, George and Margaret, special goddaughter Mary and countless other family members that loved her.
Louise’s capacity for kindness was unmatched, with a gentleness about her that made everyone in her presence always feel loved. She was the best mom, wife, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend.
The family wishes to thank the team at The Pines of Burton and special caregiver Neneia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Lebanon, Maronite Catholic Church.
