Chittick, David Victor, Sr. - Age 68, of Byron passed away March 18, 2026. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Mr. Steven Roland officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday and 12 PM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Blood Cancer United (www.bloodcancerunited.org) or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). David was born on March 18, 1958, in California, the son of William and Lucille (Eathorn) Chittick. He graduated from Linden High School in 1976 and married Lori Vincent, on February 12, 1977. David retired from General Motors in 2008 after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and golfing. David was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to cheering on the University of Michigan. Surviving are: wife, Lori; three children, Daphne (Danny) Hajek, Lindy Chittick, and David Chittick, Jr.; two grandchildren, Daniel (Ashley) Hajek and Paige Hajek; great-grandchild, Steven Hajek; mother, Lucille Chittick; two brothers, Ronny (Katie) Chittick, Joe Chittick; two sisters, Tina (Dave) Riley, and Cindy (Gary) Harvey; many nieces and nephews.
