Mariott, Larry Joe - Age 69, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, January 1, 2021. Twenty two minutes into this new year of 2021, this world lost a hard working, honest, kind and generous blue collar man. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. With his wife Diane never leaving his side and speaking loving words of encouragement, Larry a sincere believer in Jesus Christ, took the hand of his Savior and stepped in eternity after a courageous battle here on earth.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Elms Road Church of God, 2393 Elms Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Visitation will be 4-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and 12-1 PM Thursday at the church.
Larry was born March 30, 1951 in North Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Archie and Essie (Williams) Mariott. He married Diane Marie Kuzava July 10, 1999. Larry was a business owner in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Diane; children, Nicholas (Demetra) Mariott, Kristin (Paul) Stancil; and cherished granddaughter, Corinne Mariott; and step grandchildren, Alfredo Ortiz, Autumn, Aaliyah, Brandon Stancil; sister, Leona Anderson; sister in law, Julie Mariott; nieces and nephews and friends
