Roger A. Giddings, 75 of Davison, passed away on December 9, 2023. Roger was born in Flint, MI on June 22, 1948, to Dallas and Marilyn Giddings. Roger loyally served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Da Nang, Vietnam from 1966 - 1968. He would later serve in the National Guard Reserve from 1884-1989.
After returning from Vietnam he married Grace Neurohr in 1969. He worked for several different companies / businesses, then in 1971 he went to work for General Motors on the assembly line, and retired 31 years later. Roger enjoyed his classic English cars and target shooting at various places around Lapeer and Davison.
Roger is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Grace Giddings; sisters Ellen (Paul) Thomas and Nancy (Steve) Grey; brother-in-law Chris Neurohr; sisters-in-law Ramona Evans and Jan Neurohr. He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Marilyn Giddings; sister Diane (Robert) Miller.
Roger taught his family courage, strength, and perseverance.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
