BEREN, Steven Hugh - Age 79, of Grand Blanc, died peacefully on Monday January 25, 2021 after a short illness. A private family graveside service will be held at Machpelah Cemetery, Flint. His daughter asks that anyone wishing to memorialize Steve by making contributions to the ASPCA or the Michigan Humane Society. Steve was born on April 11, 1941 in Flint the son of David and Dora (Moston) Beren. He was employed at Peerless Mattress where he made many friendships that continued into his retirement. He loved baseball and traveling with his trusty companion chopper. Steve's goal was to make one person laugh every day. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Beren; brother Larry Beren; sister-in-law, Gloria Beren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, New Zealand and Isreal. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dora Beren and brother, Ernie Beren. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
