NELSON, PAMELA F. – Of Grand Blanc, age 71, died Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225West Hill Road, Pastor Vincent Slocum officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to Gift of Life and family encourages those able to register to become organ donors.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 and 12 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023 until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pamela was born in Flint, Michigan on September 16, 1951, the daughter of the late Foster and Marie (Burbeau) Booth.
On August 25, 1978 she married Edward Nelson.
She was a member of the Quota Club International. She enjoyed time with her “Bookies Club”.
She had a lifetime of serving her community, spending her career working at Voluntary Action Center, United Way and Genesee Health Plan.
Surviving are husband, Edward;
2 daughters, Tracy (Martin) Jones, Meghann (Larry) Aremia;
7 grandchildren, Jacob Russell, Grace Russell (Brennan), Eva Jones, Caleigh, Paige, Larry and Jennie Aremia;
2 sisters, Kathy (Evan) Ritchie and Judy (Tom) Burnash and
brother, Randy Booth.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeremiah Nelson.
