Dale Eugene Talcott, of Curtisville, Michigan, passed away under the loving care of his family at his home on Saturday, August 21, 2021, age 79 years. Dale was born on September 6, 1941 in Flint to Earl and Glenna (Ruggles) Talcott. Dale leaves behind a wife, Deanna Talcott of Curtisville; son, Michael (Marcia) Talcott of Owosso; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas (Hayley), Miranda, and Colton; 2 sisters, Colleen and Eleanor; and 2 brothers, Dick (Dian) and Jerry (Iola); many nieces, nephews, church family and special friends. He worked for Fisher Body in Flint for 32 years, and 2 years after for GM Truck and Bus. Dale retired from General Motors in June of 1994 and he and his wife moved to Curtisville in 1994, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and spending time with the many close friends he made. Dale was an all around outdoorsman and truly enjoyed all the beauty nature had to offer. To know Dale was to love him. He left a lasting impression on the many lives he touched and he won't soon be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his father Earl and his mother, Glenna. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dale's name. His family will welcome friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM noon at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tawas City with Reverend Mark Lindloff officiating. Dale's family will welcome friends at church before the funeral from 11:00 AM until the service time. Immediately following the funeral service, a fellowship meal will be shared in Dale's honor in the church social hall. Per his wishes, cremation will take place after the funeral service.
