Anna Mary (Csapo) Ketner, of Flint Twp., age 91, died Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, from 3:00–7:00 PM and Monday, October 21, at 12:00 PM, with funeral to follow at 1:00 PM at Rossell Funeral Home in Flushing. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care in Burton (www.hospicehomes.org).
Ann was born in Flint on August 19, 1933, the daughter of Paul and Eula (Timko) Csapo. After graduating from Northern High School, she worked at Buick. She married Howard ‘Jack’ Ketner on May 2, 1953, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Flint. A proud homemaker and avid golfer and bowler, Ann enjoyed trips to the casino with her brothers and weekly card nights with friends.
Surviving are: sons, Thomas (Jennie) Ketner of Wyoming, Timothy (Anne) Ketner of Flushing, Scott (Dianne) Ketner of Washington Twp.; 10 grandchildren, Jackson, Eva, Joseph, Tommie, Brian, Michael, Amy, Adam, Alyse, and Evan; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Patricia Csapo and Judy Csapo. Ann was preceded in death by husband, Jack; brothers, and sisters-in-law, Paul (Loren), Bill, Frank (Dolly), Vic, and Gene.
The family would like to thank the staff of LaVigne Home for their excellent care and compassion.
